Excellent variety and unbeatable customer service" I stopped in just to grab a few things and ended up doing my full weekly shop. The selection is incredible — from pantry essentials to hard-to-find international ingredients. What really stood out was the customer service. A staff member actually walked me to the aisle when I asked where something was. You don’t get that kind of service everywhere. Will definitely be back.

Love this cafe/restaurant, but it can get very noisy when busy. Service can be great but sometimes not so great, I find it is depending on how busy it is, if it's busy it lacks friendly service. Food is always yummy, I would totally recommend trying this restaurant.

First off! Asked for drinks before the meal, they came after. Chicken parma and chips were pretty good best bit about lunch. Got the drinks there was a bug in my friends drink. Just a note for anybody going up to pay make sure you got cash because you never know if there eftpos will be off or not

Definitely worth a visit. We had the Fat Chef platter. All food came out hot, meat was tender and super tasty. Service was fabulous and we got containers for left overs

I highly recommend Fat Chef Carrum Downs. We came here last year in December as a family of 7 and ordered their premium board which includes a massive tomahawk steak, porterhouse steaks, lamb skewers, juicy parmas x4, grilled chicken strips and usually prawns and calamari. Due to our religious dietary requirements, they happily offered us alternates for the prawn and calamari. We all ate more than enough and still couldn’t finish the food and had a lot to take home. We then decided to book their front event room for my husband’s 50th birthday lunch for an intimate gathering of 55 close family and friends. We ordered 7 of their premium boards, plus a number of vegetarian meals, garlic bread and wedges as starters and around 18 jugs of soft drinks and bottles of water. The way Ding and his staff accommodated our group and timed to perfection the cooking and arrival of the food, everything ran smoothly and our guests were more than impressed with the delicious food, the size of the platters and the amazing and friendly staff. The tomahawk steaks not only added that wow factor but they were cooked perfectly to our taste. Just amazing! All this whilst still providing impeccable service and food to the main room for the busy lunch hours. They didn’t rush us and allowed us to enjoy a wonderful time together in a great venue, with good company and delicious food. There was so much left for our guests to take home too! If you’re thinking of a place to eat with the family or to put on an event, I couldn’t recommend this place any more! We will see you again soon Ding and the fantastic team at Fat Chef Carrum Downs. Had lunch with the family and with friends from Adelaide. We loved the Beef Cheek special and the Salmon special of the day. Service and atmosphere was also good. Staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend the place with family and friends. Will be back again soon. Thanks for the nice experience

Lovely dinner with family, I had pork Belly absolutely brilliant. My darling wife had Beef Ragu. We both enjoyed the food, company and location.
